How it all started...
Pastors Daniel & Pamela Beard have been residents of East Ridge since 2009. Daniel and Pamela after pastoring an established church for a few years outside of the city they called home felt God calling them to plant a church in East Ridge. It seemed like just a dream to them, but soon their dream became a reality.
Expanding the vision...
With the help of The Crossing Chattanooga and a launch team of about 25 people who had committed to seeing this dream become a reality, this church began having regular Sunday Morning worship services on January 10th 2016. Over 100 people attended our first Sunday Morning worship service in a remolded garage that could only seat 66 people located on Ringgold Rd. From the first service we knew that we would need more space to fulfill all that God was calling us to do in East Ridge.

Where we are headed...
From the beginning Action Church has been focused on reaching out to the non-churched community and those who had been in church at some point but had found themselves out of church for what ever reason. In addition to that, Action Church has been committed to doing outreach in East Ridge and nearby communities thru acts of service and/or benevolence. Thru outreach and Sunday morning worship services, Action Church continues to meet new people that become part of the family. We would love for you to be part of that family too.
By the end of 2018, Action Church was able to acquire a larger building to support its growth in both people and ministry at 707 S. Germantown Rd. God certainly was with us at South Germantown as both ministry and the church continued to grow. In October 2022, thru a financial miracle that was sown, Action Church was able to pay off the mortgage at South Germantown. However, It was without a doubt that Action Church would need to acquire a larger space again or build something as the church and ministry continued to grow over the last several years.
On August 28th 2023, Action Church acquired one of the oldest and largest church complexes in East Ridge at 1312 Spring Creek Road. This 43,250 square foot complex along with 4 acres of land has given Action Church the room it needs to grow as the continue to minister to the city of East Ridge, and the nearby community.
